Copper Power Green is a chelated copper, nickel, and zinc solution designed to safely treat and prevent ich, fungus, and external parasites in freshwater aquariums. Unlike raw copper, its unique chelating agent detoxifies the metals to protect fish, while remaining deadly to disease-producing organisms.

- Safe for Scaleless Fish: Can be used with sensitive species, including tetras and scaleless fish.
- No Clouding: It does not cloud or discolor aquarium water.
- Carbon Safe: It remains in the water column even with active carbon filtration, so you do not need to remove carbon filters during treatment.
How to Dose
Always test your water’s copper levels using a standard copper test kit.
- Disease Prevention: Dose 1 oz for every 20 gallons of water (yields ~ 0.625 ppm copper).
- Active Outbreak: Dose 2 oz for every 20 gallons of water (yields ~ 1.25 ppm copper).
- Fish/Plant Dip: Dose 2 oz for every 5 gallons of water.
Important Warnings
- Invertebrates: Copper is highly toxic to snails, shrimp, and other invertebrates. Remove them from the display tank before dosing.
- Freshwater vs. Saltwater: Be sure to use Copper Power Green for freshwater, as the blue marine version (Copper Power Blue) is concentrated differently and can harm freshwater fish.
