Engineered for reef tanks and high-salinity marine environments, this 100W element relies on Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) ceramic chips to self-regulate heat, preventing dangerous temperature spikes if exposed to the air.

- PTC Ceramic Chip Technology: Traditional heaters use resistance wires that continuously get hotter until they burn out or crack. The Helio uses solid-state ceramic chips programmed to reach a strict maximum temperature limit. If the chip gets too hot, its electrical resistance naturally increases, lowering the heat output automatically to prevent tank crashes.
- Commercial-Grade Titanium Sheathing: Constructed with a heavy-duty titanium body and screws that are completely impervious to saltwater corrosion, ensuring it won't crack or shatter like traditional glass.
- Built-In Redundancy: The heating element contains its own internal temperature regulator system. When paired with the Helio controller's independent titanium sensor probe, it forms a triplicate safety net to monitor and verify water temperature constantly.
